Vegas Housing Sales Up But Nowhere Near to 2005 High
During the Vegas new housing boom years over 30 thousand homes were sold each year. In 2017 just over 9 thousand homes were sold.
In 2017 the median new home price was $285,000 but it is still far below the 2006 price of $315,000.
Builders and lenders are being more cautious with the lower new home inventories and the easy home mortgage business has disappeared.
With new tax cuts and the improving tourist trade Las Vegas is poised to have a good expanding, yet controlled housing market.
