Wonder of wonders! Lake Mead will finally receive an above-average water flow from this years' Rocky Mountain snow pack. The water will be released through the Colorado River from the upstream reservoir Lake Powell into Lake Mead. This inflow doesn't begin to solve the water shortage for Las Vegas or the Arizona and California users, but it is a positive sign.
After years of Southwest drought and below average water flows, it is welcome news to hear that maybe, the water may begin to flow once again. However, one good year will not fill the Lake. Stii, good news...!
