Portland, Seattle, Denver, San Francisco, Dallas are the top 5 locations for home ownership. Portland tops the charts with over 12% appreciation over the past year.
Las Vegas comes in at No. 12 on the list topping 6% price growth.
The worst cities to own real estate are: Washington, Chicago, New York, Cleveland, Minneapolis, and Boston.
