Fewer Vegas Resale Homes Listed

There were 19,729 homes listed for sale on the MLS for November '06.  This number is down from the high of 23,474 in October. 

Sales for November were 1,547, still down 36.6% from a year ago.

Even though there were fewer homes on the market doesn't mean the market has improved significantly.  The sales were still weak.  The reduction of the listings means that more sellers were pulling their homes off the market.  Sellers were either waiting for a better market or many have been rented.  Whatever the case, the inventory has been reduced and that will give the listed properties a better chance of being sold.
