Growing at a rate of 1,200 new residents each month this city of 190,000 population will become a major city of 1/2 million people by the year 2030. North Las Vegas has grown at a rate of 152% over the past 10 years and grows 9.7% annually.
This city is 82 square miles in size and has a number of new communities and developments. Home to Nellis Air force Base, a growing industrial base, new master planned communities and gaming, the city has a diversitfied economic base.
Median home prices are in the $280-300k range. North Las Vegas is the most affordable of the new home areas in the Vegas Valley. With the development of the new commercial areas and schools, this area is a bargain.
